When are Sunday services?
We offer one "blended" (Praise & Worship + Traditional) Worship Service on Sunday morning at 10:30.  We strive for a spiritually fulfilling, welcoming environment in which believers are committed and enthusiastic in following Christ together.  We also offer Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. PLUS join our Youth Group Ministries on Sunday and Wednesday evenings.

Where is the church located?
Our address is 601 West Well Street in Carl Junction, Missouri.  For more detailed directions, please click here.

I'm not a Methodist, am I welcome?
Jesus wasn't a Methodist either!  All are welcome here.

What should I wear?
Since it's all about our relationship with Jesus Christ in bringing new generations of people together to serve and worship Him, there is no need for a dress code.  You're likely to see jeans, suits, tee-shirts and/or ladies in hats!

Where should I sit?
Anywhere you want to sit is fine. There is no assigned seating so don't worry about sitting in "someone's seat."

Is child care available during the services?
There are "Safe Sanctuary" certified child care workers in our nursery available to love and care for your children during the worship service.

Do you have a "Cry Room"?
If your baby gets a little fussy, we have a room in the back of the Worship Center with glass windows, piped-in sound and comfortable chairs for you.

How about parking?
We have ample parking on the east side of the building as well as a portico for protected-from-the-weather drop off and pick up.

What about Communion?
We observe the sacrament of Communion (the sharing of bread and cup) on the first Sunday of every month and sometimes during special celebrations.  We do not serve wine.  You do not need to be a member of the United Methodist church to partake, nor do you need to be a minimum age.  Communion is open to all, both adult and child.

Do you offer Sunday School?
Various Sunday School classes are open for both children and adults at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings.  Please see our Sunday School page for more class details.

How do I get involved?
Please tell Pastor Jim how you would like to serve, and he will certainly get you involved!  You might also want to check out our Events Calendar and Mission Opportunities pages.

What if I want to join the Carl Junction United Methodist Church?
Please tell Pastor Jim and he will be delighted to guide you in joining our United Methodist congregation.

What if I just need to talk to the Pastor?
Please call Pastor Jim at (417) 649-7124 or email him.
